[prompto keeps his gaze level before taking a step back and looking up at ignis. it doesn't sound like the usual attempt to get him to chill out and go away; instead, it's earnest and genuine, an actual act of honesty from the man who usually tries to present himself without flaw.]
[and even though he says there is nothing to apologize for, prompto still is glad that he managed to get it out there. (that being said, ignis mentioning that he, too, was at fault does make him pause and accept that there's some level of admittance here to a personal blunder. he'll take it.)]
[That's a question he's hesitant to answer. He should be alright. But ever since waking, he'd had nothing but phantom aches and pains all over, matching where he'd taken blows during that ridiculously ill-conceived fight with Ardyn within the dream. And then there's the lingering horror from one of the other parts-- where he'd been confronted with his own future.
He frowns, not pulling back quite as much as he might have before, allowing that proximity, even as their arms fall back to their respective sides.]
I'm... [There's a hesitation, deciding how to answer it. He's physically fine, despite the lingering soreness and aches. He's whole and sighted. But-- there's a lingering upset somewhere in his chest at the thought of it.]
I'm well enough. [A short inhale-- and there's no point in pretending otherwise, not when it seems the displaced as a whole had already decided that there had been a shared element to the visions and experiences they'd had while asleep.] Still rather-- shaken, I suppose. But there's nothing for that but time.
[that much is an understatement, but he's pretty sure everyone pretty crazy dreams of the variety that would make anyone's anxiety spike in any given situation. this, however, gives way to prompto asking directly about a particular dream that he knows ignis was part of, too.]
You were in my dream, the one where we were in Niflheim and we got into a cave.
[it's a statement, not much of a question at all.]
Do you remember that? I wanted to make sure you were alright after it.

Are you alright?
[he repeats his question.]
