As much as could be expected. Though the juxtaposition of every-day tasks and life with the concept of being in another world and dimension altogether is still somewhat surreal. I suppose that's something we all experience.

I'll admit, the constant charade of a double life is tiring. It's just enough to make me wonder what would happen if all fifty-some-odd of us were to admit to what we are and from where.
Nothing good, likely. But it's an interesting thought. I often wonder if those who orchestrated our arrival here are for, against, or indifferent to the other powers at play.
[Or if it's a subset of them. But all that is just hypothetical musings.]
I'm glad your injuries weren't more severe. My companions ranged everywhere from relatively unharmed to fairly seriously injured, but they all seem to be out of danger, if nothing else.
As if nothing happened, despite everything changing for so many. I imagine you've had your hands full.
I've been wondering the same thing about those who held us for a time. And if they even orchestrated anything, or if they're simply capitalising on unstable forces bringing us here.

Wouldn't want this to bias your perspective, of course. Just — for what it's worth, I'm of the mind we were byproducts of a project, not the end goal. It helps guide my thinking, even if it's ultimately proven incorrect.

They were dumped out as soon as they were unneeded, they were altered just enough to be able to survive in New Amsterdam under the radar, so that people weren't as aware about those from alternate realities showing up on their door, and therefore less suspicion being pointed their way.

It's likely a necessary first step for everyone who arrives here, really. We're all focused on understanding our own situation before we can even begin thinking about Earth as a whole.
I'm sure it's far more than the rest had when you all first arrived. Having something to focus on and people with a bit more experience to help guide my thoughts has been impossibly helpful.
